She understands the importance of color matching, depth, & simplicity when it comes to creating realistic injuries such as wounds, cuts, bruises, etc. She is very well versed in the art of special effects; she can do simple projects from 2 dimensional realistic tattoos, building up a cut or a gash with 3rd degree silicone, to creating a custom character from head to toe by life casting, sculpting, running foam, and applying in the final piece.
Obsessed with symmetry, lines, and very close attention to detail Rebecca is able to create flawless beauty makeup. She understands the importance of grasping the right era, style, and vibe of the project. Whether it be a 1920s vintage shoot, avante garde fashion show with a lot of color and boldness, or a soft and romantic look for an outdoor fall wedding, Rebecca will find the perfect look to suit the day. She will complete the look with airbrushing, mens grooming, up-do or styled hair, etc.
Rebecca has been working in the Los Angeles film industry for the last 7 years and within that time frame she has worked on feature films such as 'Commuter' by director Kevin Ward, 'The Carpenters Daughter' by director Brian Hertzlinger, print ads for Target, Third Love Lingerie, Victoria’s Secret and music videos with rock stars from the band Buckcherry, worldwide campaigns like PETA, and her work has been seen on national television shows such as The Ellen Degeneres show and Extra. Not only does she have experience in the makeup industry but the fine art industry as well. She has 10+ years experience in oil painting, sculpting, fabricating, etc.
