Rebecca Sophie arrived in Los Angeles 2012, doughy-eyed and bushy-tailed, ready to study and eventually master the art of Makeup and Special Effects. She hit the ground running, and fast! She dove in with technical training at makeup school, continued pursuing her love of the fine arts by designing graphics for LA based marketing companies, creating large-scale abstract acrylic & resin paintings, and saying yes to every job that involved makeup and special effects.

By assisting and learning from other makeup professionals, she honed her own skills of technical yet whimsical makeup artistry. Being able to learn from mentors and peers has helped her grow as a forever student. She has assisted Makeup Artist’s Joel Harlow, Emma Croft, Colleen Kreighton, & Sam Addington.

Rebecca loves telling stories through the use of makeup and creating characters that individually suit each project. She enjoys working with other Creators, Directors, and Performers to bring cohesion to the final result.
